Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College was established in 2001, in Perambalur. The college is recognised by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University of technology Tiruchirappalli. The college is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified and NBA Accredited institution. The college strives to impart quality education in the field of engineering and technology through a stimulating innovative environment.
At this institute, students and faculty are provided with an open ended academic and professional environment of intellectual enquiry, technological studies, extracurricular activities and self development. The college provides state of the art infrastructure, laboratory facilities and highly qualified and experienced faculty to impart quality education in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics Engineering.
The Placement cell has tie-up with more than 20 premier corporate companies including Tata Consultancy Services, HCL, Congnizant Technology Solutions and WISDOM Technologies who train our students before joining and make them ‘Industry ready' for campus recruitment. Around 80 per cent of the eligible students get placed in various reputed companies at Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. Students are given training in soft skills that includes aptitude tests, problem solving, arithmetic reasoning, personality development, english communication skills, interview skills and mock interviews. Various industrial visits are organised for students and international conference, seminars, workshops, industrial guest lectures and quizzes are organised every year.
The campus spreads across a lush green area and has a new building with well furnished rooms, a well stocked air-conditioned library, a computer lab and a communication lab. It also has a well maintained canteen. The buildings also house lecture halls, drawing halls, workshop, a stationary shop etc.
The physics, chemistry, electrical and electronics labs are equipped with latest equipments. The students are also provided necessary infrastructure for sports.
The faculty of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College has many doctorates from various streams, with 18 more members of the faculty about to complete their PhD.
